Forestdale Metal Products is Now ISO 9001:2015 Certified

Forestdale Metal Products has officially achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification, effective May 4, 2026. The certification was issued by CWB Registration and covers the full scope of our manufacturing operations, including laser cutting, bending, welding, machining, grinding, drilling, tapping, countersinking, saw cutting, and punch press work.

ISO 9001:2015 is the internationally recognized standard for quality management systems. It means a company's quality systems have been independently audited and proven to be documented, repeatable, and built around continuous improvement. For many OEMs and product manufacturers, it is a baseline requirement when qualifying a manufacturing partner.

Forestdale has been working toward this certification for years. Our quality policy has always stated a commitment to maintaining a management system aligned with ISO 9001. That meant building documented procedures, inspection protocols, corrective action systems, and performance tracking across every department, all with this standard in mind. The certification confirms that these systems have been independently audited and hold up to the standard.

Combined with our existing CWB CSA W47.1 certification for steel and aluminum welding, this certification reinforces the quality systems that support every part of our operation, from quoting through to final shipment.
